A Stronger Branch

Bom Dia!

Holy cow!  All my cousins are getting married!  That's nuts.  It's really good to hear about all the progress that everyone is making.

This past week was the last week of the transfer and we had lots of success.  William and Judit are progressing  and this was their second time at church.  They are reading the Book of Mormon, but William had malaria this last past week so focusing on small letters in a book wasn't really the best thing for him.  They are really doing well and we stillhaven't told them about the marriage yet.  We are super excited for that.  Other than that, we have other investigators that are progressing.  One of our investigators moved to another town right in the middle of our teaching her, but we have a church there, so no big.  This transfer things are going to change again in this area and I can't wait to get underway.  The work here is ready to go to the next level and it needs to.  In order for the branch to get stronger, the members have to walk with us and they won't learn or walk with us until we have lessons to teach and it basically makes a big circle, but the branch is going to get stronger through missionary work.  This is my 3rd transfer with Elder Oryang.  I am still not tired of him, although I can't say how he feels about us being together for one more transfer. ha ha  Actually, he's fine with it.  He said he was more worried about having to train, so I am excited to be with someone that I know and someone who is familiar with the area.  It's just going to be a good transfer, so that means I am going to start making more plans.  The rest of my house is okay, except for one dupla.  They are having a hard time together and they are staying together, too.  If you could pray for them that would be great.

On another topic, I really like Reid's seminary teacher idea with the whole old suit thing and the title of liberty.  That was pretty cool.  Also, the fact that grandma got to meet with a general authority was pretty cool.  I mean, it's not every day that you get to talk with a designated servant of the Lord and all the progress that she is making is really cool.  As soon as she has the opportunity to go to the temple, she should go.  I don't want her to wait for her first time to be with me because I want my first time back to be with her.  That would be awesome.

Also, I did receive the Starburst candy in the last package and thank you so much for that.
I don't have much more to write than that, but it was a good week and I am looking forward to the rest of the weeks this transfer.

Lots of love from Africa...

Love,
Elder Proksch
