Confirmation Meeting

What a week you guys had.  That sounds like a lot of fun and a lot of church activities.  You guys sound like you're having fun and doing a lot of good work.

This week started off kind of slow but it picked up towards the end. This week started off with a sick companion and it's kind of hard to climb stairs when you want to throw up and have the Mozambican mudslide.  On the bright side, we found 25 new people with families. So 25 new people in total and that's just the start of the blessings this week. Last week was the finding of people, but this week has been the convincing of men. I can not count how many times my mind has been quickened by the spirit and I know for a fact that it hasn't been me.  The spirit has spoken through me more than once this week and it has been amazing to see the change it brings to people.

17 people were baptized but it wasn't our companionship it was another one that was in our house and the confirmations this week lasted so long that nobody gave talks during sacrament meeting!  Seventeen people all in one sacrament meeting... it was nuts.

This next week we are still trying to find more people and starting to talk to them about marriage and getting them ready to start their papers.  This next transfer is going to be starting a lot of marriages and getting people to commit to baptism, but we will see how many are still on track for that date in July

Also this morning we played football and yes, Dad, we owned the other team.  7 touch downs to four.  Three of those touch downs were mine and one was a really sweet dive catch!   ha ha ha!  We played out in the sand and the thing that was so special about it is my trainer Elder Phillips is going home next week.  He is an old guy on the mission and it's cool that he is so close to going home.  We totally owned him in football this morning and that was even better.  Playing football, on the beach, in Africa...on my P-day, it's the greatest.  We play during the morning when the tide is low and it is so fun.

I see Reid got his missionary birthday gift (luggage).  That is cool.   ha ha ha ha  How is getting ready for your mission  going?.  Alex looks like he shaved his mohawk.  Come on, bro.  Keep the faith!   ha ha ha!

Sorry this letter is so short but not a lot of stuff is happening this week.  Next week President will be up in Beira and I can't wait for him to get here and see what we are doing!
