Chicken Butt

How is it going everyone? Sorry if this letter isn't well, gramatically. I have been jumping back and forth between the two languages and it's hard some days.

Friday I baptized 2 more people, so that means this month I have baptized 5 people! Booooyaaaaaa:! I am rocking it up in my new area. Uh huh! Saturday was the ward mission activity. It was a blast! We had more investigadors come than we had ward members. Just say free food and games and they will come, I guess. It started off by eating hanging apples. Then we had a game of who could eat 5 bananos the fastest. The funny thing about that was a little girl won that game. After that, we had a game of who could eat a lime without making a face. That was all good until you come to a country where they eat limes as regular food. hahahahaha! Then the last event the people had to eat a plate of super spicy rice in 5 minutes. It was good. I wanted to participate, but they decided to let the investigadors participate instead.

Yesterday was the BIG DAY. Wow, you know what's funny is I don't even feel like anything since it was Sunday and all of my comps forgot it was my birthday. It was a quiet day. I made No-bake cookies in the night. That was my little way to celebrate and by opening a package from Sister Palmer. Just another day really. Oh, we went to a lunch appointment and I had to laugh because they gave one of my comps a salvadorean delicacy. It was chicken butt. I knew it exactly when I saw it because I have been subject to eat it before. The look on this Elder's face was so funny and he was so confused as to what it was. I just laughed.

Also, about the Las Vegas Century ride in October...sure, go ahead and sign me up. I want to see what I can do. I will give it my best and not give up, ok. Thanks a lot mom, I love you. You guys will probably kick my rear end for such short time to prepare (what, like a week?!) but I will do my best. I have never given up.

Well, other than this, not much has happened. Basically a normal week.

Love you guys,

Elder Proksch
