I honestly don´t know where to start and have so little to say. This past week I was hardly at my own house. I was on what we call divisons the whole week and trying to fix the problems of the people in my district. I have a little Laman and Lamuel in my group and yes, they do murmur. Against the whole zone, in fact, which is really bad because it divides us. So today for P-day it was my turn to organize something and have an activity. Everybody gets really tired of playing soccer, so what I did was bought 8 plastic balls and we played dodge ball. It started off good, but ended in a little bit of a fight with some other missionaries. I guess this happened because here they don´t call it dogeball, the call it quemarro, or "burned". Here they play with tightly wound up rags dipped in gas and lit on fire and then they throw them at one another. Just another wonderful cultural thing that turned a good idea bad. So, like normal, after the fight ceased, we ended up playing soccer. About the only sport they know how to play. Next week I believe we are trying something much more passive, like kite flying and there has been talk about sitting around in a hammock, just chilling all day. Well, either way it comes out, it should be better.
I was thinking about the promptings you have had, Mom. I know from experience that it is an important prompting to pay attention too. I remember every time the mission president called and wanted the missionareis to be prepared, something happened, like a flood or a mini earthquake. Just be watching and be prepared, that's all I know. Listen to the Spirit.
Well, I love you all. Work toward your goals, take a little bit at a time to organize yourselves and be clean and the Lord will help you too. Just remember to pray and read. Diligence has its very specific promises. Also, Happy Birthday, Grandpa! I miss you a lot!
