We Ran!

It was a very windy, cold November morning. All four of us were out there, waiting for the gun to go off. Honestly, if we hadn't already paid our registration fees, we probably would have elected to stay in bed this particular day. You see, the night before, Erik and the boys stayed out late at an ice hockey game, so they were pretty tired as it is and I just plain stayed up late (no excuse, really). But, nonetheless, we were up and ready to run. Today was the first time our family (minus Alex on a mission) ran in a race. Erik and Reid ran the 2-mile and Logan and I ran the 6-mile. In case you were wondering, yes, the boys had faster run times than Erik and I, however, Erik and I won't be sore tomorrow morning because we run all the time. It was a great run and what made it better was that quite a few of our friends were there in the same race. Thankfully it was a success for our family because Mom just signed everyone up for another one in February!
