Well this week is our week to host, which means we get to show the new missionaries where to go to help them feel more at home. It should be crazy, because I have only been here 7 weeks and now its my job to show people what to do.
On a relations note, my roommates and I have been getting along well. We have been having a blast. My companion and I are almost as if we were best friends. I don't know what I am going to do in a few weeks when we go separate directions. That should be interesting. Funny how things work out sometimes. My district is now the oldest distric in the zone. We are the top dogs but feel like we don't know anyone anymore. I think it just means we are the ones who get to give the talks in sacrament meeting.
Not much has happened here, pretty slow week. The language is coming along but seems to get more difficult the more that you know.
I went to the RC yesterday and got a really interesting call. A lady called to ask a question about the scriptures. It was in D&C chapter 1 and verse 30. It talks about a church and she wanted to know if it was our church. I talk about this on the tape I'm sending you, but I essentially bore my testimony to her and after that it was quiet and she didn't really say much. Finally with a quiver in her voice she said, "thank you, I appreciate the message you have shared with me. Have a wonderful evening." I love those experiences, because it is like icing on the cake. Anyway, I don't know what more to put in this letter, take care.
Alex
