I'm not sure what we were thinking when Erik and I decided to get married 19 years ago...in the middle of winter. I think we forgot that our anniversaries weren't going to be all that warm in temperature, unless we traveled to a far off tropical land. This year, we decided to spend it in Flagstaff, Arizona. Why? Well, we have a thing for woodsy bed and breakfast inns that remind us of where we got married...Idaho. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, even with the 2 feet of new snow on the ground from a storm that came through earlier in the week. We ended up driving to the quaint, yet colorful town of Sedona and spent the whole day there, just exploring. We even found a place to come back in the summer with the boys and play in the water. It's hard to believe that it's not man-made (see above picture). We definitely will be returning here in the future.
