Nice pictures! They look really good and I can't wait to go through the temple with grandma. I wrote her a nice letter about the temple and things, but it's all under control, you know!!!!! ha ha ha.
Anyway, I had a good week this week and had a few eye openers. I went on a division with my zone leaders here and that was good. Elder Bigelow was the missionary I went with and he is going home in about two weeks. We had a total of 22 contacts and four lessons by the end of the day. Lots of success and what I learned is that when you make a goal and you don't work to attain it it's like you didn't make the goal or you didn't put your effort into it, it really won't work like it should. It's like Moroni says, faith, hope, and charity. Faith is the work, hope is your goal and then the Lord can be charitable with you and give you a blessing. That day with the zone leaders was a good example of when that goes right. That really helped out our week and got us a lot of contacts.

I am really excited for General Conference and I can't wait to hear President Utchdorf's talk and especially Elder Holland's talk about Abinadi. Abinadi has got to be my favorite prophet out of the entire Book of Mormon. There's a lot of others that I like, but Abinadi is super cool. His words affected Nephite history for the next 400 years. I just wish we knew more about him, kind of like Enoch. I think all of them have written books like Alma at some point or another, but I want to read them. That also makes me think about all the sealed books that Heavenly Father has for us still. He's just waiting for our faith to be greater. One of the ways that we do that is by planning and putting forth effort in our work. I did a lot of study on faith, hope and charity this week to give a good district meeting. I think everyone liked it because I saw people using some of the things I said. It was way cool for me because I learned a lot of stuff about faith, hope and charity. I believe within those three things we can see miracles and lots of them. I think that is one thing that I have learned on my mission, that miracles happen and that if you work with the Lord, he will bless you openly.
Speaking of cool stuff, we saw three chameleons in our yard the other day and my companion took some pictures with us holding them. My camera was out of batteries and it needed to charge, so he took them on his camera. I will send them to you guys if I can. Those things are so cool and yes, they do actually change colors. Although most of the time they were black because they were mad. That's what they do when they are mad , they turn black and start hissing. In fact, when all of them got into the same bush, they all started to get mad at each other and one turned black with green and yellow dots and started shaking the branches where he was. Total chaos! Super funny and cool at the same time.
Anyways, that was my week. I can't wait to go to the temple when I get back. Please tell me who it was that she did work for, OK?
Lots of love,
Elder Proksch
