Things have been a little dull here this week. I have been in a lot of church meetings, especially about problems that we have here, but we are getting them fixed. I know the Lord has prepared me for this area and I can already see the impact I am hopefully able to make.
By the way, Babelfish is good, but it's not complete. It doesn't do dialects. That's what threw me off in the first part of the letter. The probelm is that Babelfish just translates exactly what you write.
Anyway, I baptized another little child this week. I also spent some time this last week visiting my old converts in this area. That was cool! Some were active, some not. Others are now in the states and others disappeared.
My companion's name is Elder Sacalxolt. He is way awesome! We are always going around smiling and laughing and other people wonder why we are so happy and they want to hear our message. I love that! My new mission president is so cool, too. He is really spiritual and cried with emotion during the whole stake conference we had here yesterday.
Today for p-day we are getting together as a zone and are going to go play soccer in an area called Cojutepeque which is about an hour from us right now, so I need to finish up so we aren't late. Sorry it's so short this week, but with so much going on I have hardly had time to think. By the way, thanks so much for sending those quotes. Yes, they are going to come in very handy. Last Sunday we had 2 of the talks that didn't show up so my companion and I gave inpromtu talks. Um, yah, that was fun.
I love you guys. Take care,
Elder Proksch
