Thanks for the letter, especially a day in advance. I know that sometimes it can be hard to write me, but like I told Dad, it won't be that hard to write me anymore, because my P-day is changing back to Monday's. Changes aren't till next Wednesday, so I won't be able to write for what seems like 2 weeks. I won't be able to write this Monday, so next Monday is when you will find out the latest of me. I know, it seems like a long time, but that's what happens when you get out of the office.
These photos are of a family that we met a week earlier and they are moving along really well. They have come to church and like it a lot. We decided to cook scones for them, so that's what the dough is in our hands. This family is so humble. They are so nice and super awesome. I know the Lord has prepared them to progress a lot in this life. I just wish I had more time to see them get baptized. They invited us to eat one night. We had dried fish..... well, weren't crazy about eating it, but in order not to offend anyone, we had to suck it up and open the hatch. The food was actually pretty good, but dried fish is just not one of those foods that Gringos can eat without side effects. My comp and I had a lot of bathroom problems. Let's just say that we have a cleaner bathroom because of it. We bought air fresheners and a lot of bleach. ha ha ha
We also had a guy that was preparing for a baptism, but he fell through becuase he thinks he hasn't received any sign that he should get baptized, which is totally weird. He said he had a dream that he was with us and that he went to a stream and that his dead wife was on the other side waiting for him. In the dream she said that he needed to be baptized to be with her. My companion and I were like, "What more of a sign do you need?" He has also said he has felt the Spirit manifest in him that what we teach is true . He has been very emotional because of it. He has seen a baptism and wanted to be baptized. There are just those that sometimes I don't get. Why not after all that you have seen and know? It makes me feel like in a movie I remember that sometimes with the guy on the side of the giant pit, where the other guy kicks him in and says, "This is Sparta!" but instead of Sparta, just say baptism.
Ok, I feel better now. Just sometimes the people, like sheep, don't want what's good for them and it hurts as a shepard to see them in that situation.
I love you guys. Take care so much.
