Miscellaneous

Thank you so much for the letters. I always appreciate and enjoy them. Well, today my writing situation is a little different and kind of cool. First, of all we got to the cyber cafe and all the computors were taken, so I have become somewhat friends with the owner of the place. He asked me for some help in translating something in English, so I helped him and now he is letting me write using the administrative computor to the whole place. I feel a little special.

Next week we are going to have a big water balloon fight with the zone and it should be really fun. This last week I had one of my old zone leaders in my area helping us with a few investigators and getting them closer to baptism. It was nice to see him again, but unfortuneatly, he is going home in about a week. I started to feel a little old in the mission. Jimbo, the investigator, still hasn´t gotten the part for his car, partly because its a little expensive. Today, a little later I am going to another investigator's house to change the inner oil filter on the oil pan of his car. I never knew how much help it was to have the opportunity to work as a mechanic at Fransisco's before my mission. I learned a lot there that can help me through my life and it's like Mom wrote to me, "Service can change the life of another person," as I am sure she is finding out in the Relief Society. She had a question of how we can give help to others and have them accept it easier. What is helpful is first, you need to be their friend. Second, do it in a manner that doesn´t feel like a favor for them and they won´t feel so bad about receiving the help they get, or at least that's what I have found out down here.

This week should be fun. Supposedly, I am going to be receiving a little leadership training. I am a little excited about that. I am sorry I have to be so short but I need to go.
