Stay Off the Sidewalks, Part 2
I'm sure we've warned you before with the oldest son, but we're dealing with a whole new child now and ....the driver's permit factor. Stay off the sidewalks! The sidewalks? you say. That's right. Logan was recently awarded his driver's permit and he's been practicing his knowledge on the sidewalks...um, I mean roads. Actually, he's not too bad and doesn't complain when Mom or Dad correct him or make strong suggestions when he's behind the wheel. It is very strange, however, that he's not extremely excited to be driving. When I was his age, I was begging my parents to get my permit, find any excuse to go to the store, visit friends or anything that got me behind the wheel! Not the case with Logan (or Alex, for that matter). That's o.k., because it can be a very nerve-wracking experience for Mom and Dad. Sure, there's a hope that Logan gets his driver's license when he turns 16 so he can help cart his younger brother and himself around. Just like Alex, though, Logan must complete his Eagle project first and maintain good grades (Dad has also said he needs to get a job to help pay for insurance!). Logan will make it happen. So, be careful out there and know that you've been warned!
