The Week Before

T'was the week before Christmas and all through the house, everyone was stirring with the excitement of the season! The kids are trying to get themselves set up scholastically so they can enjoy their vacation time without any worries, Mom and Dad are working, scurrying, cooking, shopping and planning and the dog watches it all. The weather is finally cooperating and we are getting cooler temperatures as I type. That is probably the most exciting part...the potential for freezing temperatures! We are pathetic, you know.
