The Run

This was certainly a busy Saturday for us. So many activities, so little time! We all got up early to make it down to Henderson for Reid and Logan's NikeTown 5K run. That was exciting because this marked a first for Reid. He has never participated in a race like this before. This was Logan's second Nike race, but as you know, it wasn't his first running race this year. They both did well in their divisions and loved the fact that they got to pick up a backpack, medal, rubber ball and gift cards at the finish line for their efforts. Reid is still talking about it and will no doubt do it again next year.

After we finished there, we tried to get breakfast at a local restaurant, but the line was out the door, so we just grabbed smoothies, headed over to Grandma Dyer's house, picked her up and headed out to the annual Aviation Nation Nellis Air Show. This was a great event...again! We all love this event, partially because we are all aviation nuts. This just happened to be the 60th anniversary of the air show, so they really tried to make it extra special. You will all just have to wait to hear about the rest of the details until tomorrow when I've downloaded the photos to share...until then....
