Just the Blog

For some reason, I keep forgetting that I don't always need a photo to go along with the blog...but it's usually more interesting, right? No pictures lately, therefore no new blog. This time, it's just the blog! It also helps when your computer isn't scattered between rooms in your house. This would be because Erik bought me a new office desk(o.k., it's for everyone, but he used Mother's Day as an excuse). I love it. It wasn't the one Erik had picked out, but I think he's warming up to it. The kids like it because they can put all their junk on the "wrap around" portion. Erik calls it colonial, I call it feminine. It has white-washed paneling with a light wood top. He says he got it for me so I could "be more organized". Loosely translated, that means "I'm tired of seeing your mess everywhere I look". It works. By the way, Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there. Even though it was figured out that mother's only make $138,000 per year, I feel like I'm worth way more than that because of my boys and husband. They make me feel like a million bucks! I love the little notes Reid writes for me from time to time. I love how Logan comes to talk to me when he has a problem. I love Alex's hugs whenever he sees me and I love Erik's kind words even when I do look fat in "those" pants. I also love my own mom for her unconditional love for me and I love my mother-in-law for her acceptance. Mom's make the world go 'round!
