Mudruckers

Every once in a while a parent will ask, "Why? Why do my children do such things?!" Take for instance, this photo of Alex and Logan, covered with mud. Why? Why, are they covered with mud? Well, the closest explaination I have is this: They both decided to venture into large mud puddles after a heavy rainstorm...just for fun. Shoes were lost, clothing was mud-covered and laughter was the medicine of the moment. Apparently, things didn't get going until mud was flung at each other (and their so-called friends). Naturally, I wouldn't let them into the house until they were either standing at the door naked, or hosed-down outside on the street. The street route was chosen and the curiosity of the neighborhood brought a small crowd at the end of our driveway. Later, when I asked "Why?!!" I received the answer of, "Why not?!"
