Ola!
What a week! ha ha I mean it just flew by. It seems like I don't even know what to write about. We found a whole bunch of new families and we are starting to sift through them to see which ones we can actually teach or not. Transfers are coming up again (it seems like we just had them), but I am hoping again that I might be transferred. As history has shown, every time I say that, I don't get transferred. So I think I will bet on staying here. ha ha! It was really good to see everyone in the pictures. I just realized how much I miss Dad because he was in the picture and to tell you the truth, he's looking a little thinner (keep up the good work, Dad). Of course, I miss mom too. That's a given and I think about you guys often.
The family that we had last week with the mother and the son is kinda border-lining right now, because we can't sit with the whole family and it's something we are really pushing for. We need to sit with them, but it's like they don't want too. The son really wants to sit with us, but it doesn't seem like the rest of the family does. That's frustrating, but on a lighter note, we found a man who I swear was prepared for us. He kept asking us if there was a church on this earth that wasn't a business and maybe where he could feel God's love. Me and my companion just looked at each other and started right into the first lesson. At the end, he wanted to come visit our church, but he couldn't make it on Sunday, so we will see. We set his baptismal date sometime in April. The work is going good and we are spending a lot of time with return missionary members to help us teach lessons (yes, even Mozambique has return missionaries!). They help out a lot and I am learning a lot from the way they teach.
It was good to hear about Grant's Eagle project and how well everyone is. I am praying for those who aren't well and hoping they get better (Aunt Virginia). I am glad to hear about Reid's progress in school and your guys progress in the Scriptures (you're ahead of me right? Not! ha ha) I am pretty sure the Lord is blessing you with a lot of things right now. See if you can figure out what they are.
Sorry this letter isn't that long. Not much is happening, but I have a feeling this week is going to be interesting... so stay tuned. ha ha
Lots of love
Elder Proksch
Oh yeah! By the way... about the pictures. The second one is one with my comp and the black guy (ha ha) is our return missionary member who served in South Africa. We came to the conclusion that Mozambique to South Africa is like Mexico is to the United States. ha ha ha Funny Guy!
