Hey family!
Well, another week has gone and I am ready for a week full of a trunky companion and Thanksgiving food, the Mozambique way. This week my companion's sister returns from her mission in Switzerland, so this next p-day is going to be a little rough for him. To take the edge off, we are going to do a little Thanksgiving feast this week (since we're both from America) and get a lot of food. That's what we are about to go and do. This last past week has been kind of slow, just for the fact that I was a little sick and the fact that we had riots. These riots weren't really riots because everyone just stood around and did nothing. The reason for them was that the transportation prices in the chappas were being raised and people didn't like that because that means that the price of just about everything is raised, from bread to rice to sugar, almost everything. Everything has been resolved, it seems, as of now but I have no idea how it was resolved.
So this week I had some stomach problems (let's just say that) and that's always fun so we had to stay inside. This week we are going to try and finish this transfer strong together. We have a lot of new potential investigators and they look promising. I am actually really excited this week because of all the good that could happen. I am just excited to get into this week and be thankful.
As far as transfers go, I don't know if I will be getting transferred or if I will stay. My trainer and I think its about a fifty-fifty chance that either of us go or stay. To be honest, I would like to go, but if I stay that wouldn't be bad either. It's just really what the Lord wants at this point and whatever he decides is good enough for me. ha ha My trainer did show me some of the experiences he had in the more jungle parts of Mozambique on his camera. I gotta say it looks way fun and I would love to go out there. Hopefully I can get the package you guys send before that, but if it doesn't happen... oh well, right? ha ha ha. Really, that's all that has happened this week. Nothing really much. Oh ya, it's getting hotter and hotter which is kinda weird cause it is almost December... then again, there really wasn't much of a difference in Vegas.
Thanks for all the letters (grandma and grandpa). I always love getting those letters you guys send. They are like a giant pick- me- up. I love you guys and thank you for all the support!
love
Elder Proksch
