This week's letter from Elder Proksch:
This week I baptized two more investigators. Yes!! I am sending some photos. One of the guys has been the director of most of the international companies in Centro America. He has created a few food products and even had his own bussness. To me, it has been really quite impressive because there has been a lot I learned from him. He has such a big Spanish vocabulary that it forced me to stretch my own. He has also written a book called "The Zun Tsu". He hasn't published it yet, but is going to through some of the contacts that I have in other areas. He has taught me a lot about strategy and this has helped me a lot in teaching some investigors. He has also studied a lot of psychology and has shared a few thoughts about that. I still keep in consideration what the MTC has taught me. I am on a mission for the Church and I am serving the Lord and I need to do what He wants me to do.
There have also been a lot of de-stressing moments this week or at least that's what I call them. There's also some of those fotos and sorry for the Spanglish. I am just writing at six million miles an hour.
Thank you so much for informing me about the bike ride. I really wish I could have been there and now I think you guys have an idea of how it was for me. I still remember that ride just like it was yesterday. I remember the hard parts, the fun parts, the cold mornings like the were just lived and I wouldn't change that experience for any other in the world. You know what? I can say the same about the mission. The mission has been anything but easy and it has been fun too. I would live it all again if I had the chance. Now I realize that its about time to start the next project. I look forward to finding out what it will be.
Well, I need to write my mission president. Yes, there is a new president and I will be able to meet him this week. I'm a little excited about that. I hope you guys have a great week, take care, love you all lots.
Elder Proksch
