Frogs and Chickens

Hi all! I am glad you all got the package and you liked frog smashing. That is a new and growing sport here in El Salvador and can result in a more peaceful night and a better rest. I am still working with Animal Rights to get chicken-smashing approved (that's a joke). Man, I hate chickens and who decided that animals have rights, anyway? My companion and I are working miracles here in Santa Rosa de Lima. I love this guy so much. By the way, it has rained, rained and to change the weather for a little bit it rained a little more, but harder.

I got the package and thank you so much for the jump rope. It has been working out great and I really like it. I just have to go a little easier, because I was getting blisters on my feet there for a little. I have never been sooo happy to get new shoes in my life, too. That was such a sweet experience. Yesterday we brought 4 investigators to church. This is good because when people go to church it usually (hopefully) translates to baptisms. I have seen the miracle power of the Spirit in one of our investigators especially. He was a smoker and a drinker. He has now basically stopped smoking and drinking cold turkey due to the power of the Spirit. He has gained an answer to his prayers and I have seen a physical change in his face and happiness. Changes are coming up in about a week and a half and I hope I don´t get changed because of all the progressing people here in my area. It's funny I came here thinking that nobody wants to hear this message and I want a change. Not after a companion change and a little work with the help of the Llord we are able to work miracles through the lives of others. I feel like Amulek and Ammon. It's a great feeling to know the Lord is on your shoulder if you do what is right.

Dad, I can totally relate to the transfer situation. I hope you guys have a safe trip up to Salmon and say hi and thank you to Grandma Proksch for me for all of her letters and her and Grandpa's support. It does not go unseen, nor unappreciated. I feel slower and slower the more I try to talk in English because I am forgetting it. I might have to take a few classes when I get back.

I'm not sure if any of this is boring to you guys, but it's what I get to do every day.

Last night we ran into a really drunk guy and that is always no fun because you know it's a waste of time. Any who, he thought my name was Elmer Proshhhhhhhh (with spit on the end of that). One can focus on all the bad things that go on in the day and make their day and others really bad or they can take that news and turn it into blessings and be thankful for all that they have and I prefer the latter. It's just so much nicer. Satan tries to bring us down, but can only do that which we let him. So on that note... be good, fight the good fight, and stick it out to the end. You will have your reward either here on this earth on in the life to come.

Love you all ,

Elder Proksch
