Keeping Fit

It's that glorious time of the year again...soccer season! The only difference between this season and others is that we only have one son playing instead of all three and I'm not coaching. Reid starts practice Thursday and is excited. He's been "training" for the season by joining his running club at school. They meet every day after eating lunch, on the playground. Don't ask me how he keeps his lunch down after all that, but I guess it works. Logan is taking a break from organized sports for now and is kicking around on his skateboard. Alex, as you already know, is now into cycling, so he's quite busy with that. Erik and I try to keep the old muscles working by taking nightly walks around our neighborhood...kid uninterrupted!
We hope everyone is doing well. As a family, we might be taking a trip towards Salt Lake and beyond in the next 4 months for cycle races, weddings and reunions. It is our hope that we can also visit our friends and family during those adventures! The boys are hoping that the weather warms up soon so we can plan our family vacation to Texas and Arizona to get soaking wet at a few waterparks there. It doesn't look like that will happen all too soon being that we woke up to snow on all of our surrounding mountains this morning! Tobagganing instead?
