Giving Up the Garage

There's a lot of it. In fact, it's taken over the garage this week. Junk. O.k., maybe not all junk, but a lot of items we have finally decided to live without. We're having a garage sale this week, so the garage has taken on the form of a small shopping mall. It's amazing how much stuff a family can accumulate during their residence in a home. My mom is also contributing quite a bit of stuff, so there is a pretty good selection ready for selling. On top of that, tomorrow we finally get our countertops. Yippee! (Small things excite us!) The best part about that is reclaiming the kitchen. Naturally, this is when you figure out that your appliances don't match the colors you picked for your countertops. Oh, well...I guess that means new appliances! (Gee, I just hate it when that happens!) Hope everyone is well. I'll include a photo next time of the "new" kitchen.
